New Location: Nurseryfields Road at I-295 near Gate Parkway
3 Sections: OPEN, U1500 & Scholastic U800
Prize Fund: $1000 (based on 50 players - venue costs have risen)
Entry Fee: $50 for OPEN & U1500 / $25 Scholastic Section
-$5 JAXCC member discount available. +$10 Walk-up fee
Single Event Registration for one adult player is $50 online & $25 for Scholastic Section. JAXCC Members use appropriate discount links for standard $5 off. Scholastic section use "VIEW AVAILABLE DISCOUNTS" link. All players must have a current USCF registration
Rounds: 5 Rounds (2 byes allowed)
Time Control: G/45. Dual rated (Regular & Quick)
USCF Rated Event: All players must have a current US Chess ID. Can renew/join on site
Registration closes at 9:40. Round 1 starts at 10 am. Late players will be paired in the 2nd round.
SCHOLASTIC ONLY for Players U800 to Unrated SECTION only: 4 Rounds of G/30;d5. Trophies for Top 10 finishers.
Hotel Issue!!!! The prices for hotels are outrageous as it is Florida/Georgia weekend and are near $300 night at this location. Our apologies.
