SUMMARY:2017 Queen's Cup Challenge
DESCRIPTION:A USCF rated tournament that is open to women and girls only. Moms too!\nThis event is for moms\, daughters\, sisters\, wives\, aunts...well\, you get it...chess players. Our hope is to start an annual event for female chess players that catches on around the state. We are committing one event per year to develop this format. \nFree long sleeve T-shirt to all who register early. First time competitive players are welcome. We have a lower section just for you!\nAll registered player will receive a free QUEENS CUP  longsleeved t-shirt.  Email jaxchessclub@gmail.com when registered to send shirt size. Shirt cutoff May 1st. Register early. No extra shirts to be ordered after cutoff. Previous year's extra shirts are available for sale.  \nLunch provided to all registered players: \nWe are entertaining sponsorships from organizations who would like support this event in May 2017. JAXCC is an IRS 501(c)3 organization and your donation will be tax deductible.  \n\n2 Sections:  Champions ( very competitive players with tournament experience who will complete for prize money & Reserved U600 (competes for trophies) the perfect section for new players without USCF ratings or tournament experience. It is also good for lower rated players who want to enjoy the fun nature of this event without playing stronger girls. Our QC players deserve no less and only affirms our event tag line: "We treat every player like at Queen." As chess players we know what that means. Players must arrive at the tournament and check in no later than 9:30 am. Round 1 will begin at 9:45 am for all sections. Later rounds will begin as soon as possible after the previous round ends.
